The Fort Ruddler Veterans Club

Hello! Welcome to the Fort Ruddler Veterans Club. This is a club dedicated to the old Redwall based role playing site known as Fort Ruddler, which was situated in the northlands. In February of 2004, the site was permanently shut down. Never to reopen again. For awhile the message boards were open to all who wished to RP and post there, but recently, even those boards have disappeared.

This club was created to make a moreso permanent list of Fort Ruddler members still loyal to the site.

Currently this club is under construction, but feel free to sign up!

    Well, if anything we need to at least keep posts going on here. I was actually thinking about re-opening some form of fort ruddler. Of course not instantly and not something that would require such vigilance, but for us and anyone else that may want to join. So I'm gonna be looking into it and making slow moves towards starting. Sorry about being so long to reply once again I've been busy, who isn't these days. I check my e-mail or my wife does every few days though any time you want to write there. Its easy Guimuss@hotmail.com maybe see where everyones ended up thus far. Later

    Hey Ruddlers... Thought I'd mention a goodbeast club that just recently started up, with a quality of RP similar to Fort Ruddler. I figured people here might be interested. :)

    Hello all Ruddler vets, Roe Sungold/Rushback checking in again. I've been wondering, hopefully, if anyone might possibly have saved some of the RPs in the war between Ruddler and Marshank, Pirates of Cold Bay and Fort Tatterack? I think it was Fort Tatterack. Anyway, I was hoping someone might have saved a few files of it, because I remember I did a huge amount of RPing in there and I'd love to reread it; but the forums are down. Alas.

    Hey Guimiss...I certainly remember you. I'm not using my ROC name here because it's taken, but I was Truce/Stormflower/Andra Moonstreak/Csilla/any number of forgotten characters :) Good to see you again.

    I joined here trying to find the others a few days back, but it seems this place, too, has gone quiet. Though they may come back someday when they get nostalgic, and we'll find one another all again.

    Went looking for Fort Ruddler just a few days ago and couldn't find it. :(
    Not a very happy time. somehow I came across this and see several of you guys here. Nice to see some familiar names at least. Just wondering how lifes been treating people and maybe ignite some old talks. Talk to you Guys later.

    BTW left if Ariel gets on here, I left you an e-mail on your hotmail. don't know if you got it or not though. later

    Hm...not that i know of. With my own ROC gone i havnt seen anything left of the ROC

    True, True. After ruddler i became admin and ran some other forums/group. Alas, it didnt evne get a ending or a chance to fade. It just...went overnight, after some hackers exploited the first part of it, and the forum got spammed to death the main adminy guy shut it down.

    So hows life treating you ? ^^

    long story short.... I didn't want to keep it open if I couldn't maintain it at the same caliber. I've seen it happen too much, and sometimes endings are better than just fading away. :-/
